In the afternoon of 24th April, the meeting of the School of Law on the Study of the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China and the Deployment of the Work of Party Discipline Study and Education was held in the conference room on the fourth floor. The meeting was presided over by Comrade Liu Qichuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, and the content mainly involved the following three aspects: First, reading and studying the ‘Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China’, ‘Work Programme of the Party Committee of Southeast University on the Party Discipline Learning and Education throughout the University’ and other documents; second, announcing the establishment of the Party Discipline Learning and Education Task Force of the College of Law of Southeast University; third, deploying the specific tasks of the Party Discipline Learning and Education work. Ouyang Benqi, Dean of the School of Law, Xiong Zhanglin and Shan Pingji, Vice Dean of the School of Law, Chen Yun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of the School of Law, attended this meeting, and members of all party branches online and offline participated in this meeting.
At the meeting, Secretary Liu Qichuan stressed that we should deeply understand the significance of party discipline learning and education, and take the solid implementation of party discipline learning and education in the whole college as an important content of strengthening the college's party construction, especially the construction of grassroots party organisations and party members; we should accurately grasp the target requirements of party discipline learning and education, and focus on solving the problems that some party members and cadres don't pay attention to, don't understand, and don't master the party rules and discipline. In order to ensure the steady development of the series of activities of Party discipline learning and education, the Law School has set up a special class for Party discipline learning and education, headed by Liu Qichuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chen Yun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and composed of members of the Party Committee of the Law School, secretaries of the faculty Party branches, and representatives of the secretaries of the student Party branches. According to the unified deployment of the university, the School of Law formulated the ‘Task Breakdown Table of Party Discipline Learning and Education in the School of Law of Southeast University’, which deploys the key tasks of Party discipline learning and education one by one.
The successful convening of the meeting on the study of the Regulations on Disciplinary Measures of the Communist Party of China and the deployment of the work of party discipline learning and education is not only the study and implementation of Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, but also a political baptism for all the party members and cadres of the College. All party members of the School of Law, to the party discipline learning and education throughout the whole process of theoretical learning and practice, take on the mission, sharpening as, to promote the construction of world-class universities with Chinese characteristics to continue to help, and for the construction of China's socialist modernisation to add bricks and mortar.
