Recently, in order to meet the upcoming Ministry of Education undergraduate education teaching audit assessment, to better achieve ‘assessment for construction, assessment for improvement, assessment for strength’, and to comprehensively improve the quality of undergraduate education and teaching, the university organised a large exercise of education teaching audit assessment. All the teachers and students of the Faculty of Law actively carried out a series of activities to successfully complete the online and offline pre-assessment related work.
After receiving the task of the exercise, the leaders of the School of Law attached great importance to it and acted quickly, and the members of the working group actively participated in it and prepared for it seriously. from April 15 to April 21, the School efficiently and high-quality completed the reporting of the supporting materials such as course papers, graduation design, quality assurance system, cultivation programme, records of symposiums, and relevant institutional documents, and organised and convened a symposium for teachers, a symposium for students and a symposium for the main person in charge of the School from April 18 to 19, which were held in the School. , students' symposium and interviews with the main person in charge of the college. Through online interviews and talks, the audit experts listened to the report on the education and teaching work of the School of Law, and learned about the teachers‘ and students’ perception of the audit and evaluation, professional talent cultivation objectives, teachers‘ teaching reform measures, college supervision and grass-roots teaching organisations, and teachers’ and students' satisfaction with the school.
On the morning of 23 April, Yin Guodong, Director of Academic Affairs Office of Southeast University, and Zhang Jian, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Office of Southeast University visited the School of Law in person, and carried out point-to-point offline communication again for the problems found during the rehearsal and the focus of the next month's work on meeting the assessment.
In the afternoon of April 23, the expert group composed of four expert representatives, namely, Meng Hongzhi, Qiao Guanghui, Fu Degang and Wang Xiaoliu, held an expert opinion exchange meeting in the College. Ouyang Benqi, Dean of the School of Law, Liu Qichuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Law, Shan Pingji, Vice Dean of the School of Law, Chen Yun, Deputy Secretary of the School of Law and Vice Dean of the School of Law, Xiong Zhanlin, Vice Dean of the School of Law, Fei Qianqian, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Law, Undergraduate Counsellor of the School of Law, and Academic Secretary of the School of Law Wang Weiwei and other key members of the College's audit and assessment working group attended the meeting. Afterwards, the experts visited the mock court of the College to carry out on-site inspection of undergraduate laboratories.
On April 24, Shan Pingji, Vice Dean of the School of Law, organised a mobilisation meeting for the assessment of undergraduate education and teaching of Southeast University, to mobilise all the teachers and students of the School to attach great importance to the assessment of education and teaching and to be in the best condition to meet the assessment of education and teaching.
The School of Law will take this pre-assessment exercise as an opportunity to increase the awareness of teachers and students, sum up the experience and shortcomings, unify the thinking of all teachers and students, and gather their strengths to accept the online and offline examination and guidance of the expert group of the education and teaching audit and assessment in a good spirit and in the best working condition.
